Knowing how to order custom inspection tags properly means defining the application before you choose a material, layout or quantity.
For Australian worksites, the right result is a tag that remains readable through UV, dust, rain, handling and routine inspections - while giving your team the exact information they need at the point of use. That requires more than adding a logo to a standard template.
Start with the equipment and inspection process
The tag must suit the item being inspected, the person completing the check and the way the record will be used. A lifting sling tag, fire equipment inspection tag, harness tag and plant inspection tag may all show a date, but they serve different operational purposes and face different conditions.
Begin by identifying the equipment or asset category, where it operates and who is responsible for inspection.
